4. The Black Cows

The Vaches noires cliffs are located on the Manche coastline and extend over Houlgate, Houlgate, Gonneville-sur-Mer, Auberville and Villers-sur-Mer. These “Vaches noires” are made up of clay, marl and limestone. Today, the site is classified by the Ministry of the Environment. 5. The Castle of Beuzeval

Discover this eclectic style castle, built by the architect Michel Pelfresne. During the Second World War, the Germans transformed the castle into a headquarters for an artillery division. An observation post was built on top of the castle. In 1986, the estate was divided up and most of it became a golf course. The castle also underwent a renovation of the interior.
